1. About RentFund
RentFund Inc. (“RentFund,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a digital platform designed to help renters manage housing expenses by providing renter support services and connecting eligible users with third-party financing providers that may assist with rent payments.
Through the Platform, RentFund may:
- Provide tools and technology that allow renters to request rent support
- Facilitate access to third-party financing providers
- Enable users to submit requests and manage rent support activity through the Platform
RentFund does not provide loans, financing, or credit directly.
RentFund is not a bank, lender, financial institution, credit provider, mortgage broker, or credit bureau.
Any financing related to rent support is provided solely by independent third-party financing providers.
RentFund:
- Does not make lending decisions
- Does not approve or deny financing
- Does not set interest rates or repayment terms
- Does not guarantee approval or eligibility
All approvals, financing terms, and credit decisions are made entirely by the third-party financing provider.
2. Eligibility
To access and use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
RentFund reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate access to the Platform at its sole discretion if these requirements are not met or if misuse of the Platform is suspected.
3. RentFund Membership & Subscription
Access to certain features of the Platform may require an active RentFund membership subscription at the monthly rate displayed on the RentFund website.
By subscribing to RentFund:
- You agree to pay the monthly membership fee displayed at the time of purchase
- Subscription fees are non-refundable
- Membership may be cancelled at any time
- Cancelling your membership will immediately remove access to membership features
No refunds or credits will be provided for unused time.
Membership does not guarantee approval for rent support or financing.
4. Rent Support Services
4.1 Overview
RentFund provides renter support services through the Platform and may connect users with third-party financing providers that offer financing options to help cover rent payments.
RentFund does not provide financing directly.
All financing, if offered, is provided by independent third-party providers.
4.2 Financing Approval & Credit Checks
If you choose to proceed with financing through a third-party provider:
- Approval decisions are made solely by the financing provider
- RentFund has no control over approval decisions
- Financing providers determine eligibility, repayment terms, interest rates, and fees
- A soft or hard credit check may be required depending on the provider
- Approval is not guaranteed
Your repayment obligations are solely between you and the financing provider, not RentFund.
4.3 Platform Access
Approved users may access rent support requests and related services through the RentFund Platform.
RentFund facilitates the request process but does not issue or underwrite financing.
4.4 Support Delivery & Transfer Times
If a rent support request is approved through a third-party financing provider, funds may be delivered using the transfer method selected by the user.
Support delivery times may vary depending on several factors including:
- Financing provider approval timelines
- Identity or verification requirements
- Banking or payment processing delays
- Weekends or holidays
- System or network outages
Typical delivery estimates:
Members
Rent support is typically delivered within 24 hours after approval.
Non-Members
Rent support may take up to three (3) business days after approval.
These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
RentFund is not responsible for delays caused by third-party providers, banks, payment processors, or external systems.
5. Fees & Payments
RentFund may charge fees for certain services provided through the Platform.
These may include:
- Monthly membership subscription fees
- Service fees associated with rent support requests
All applicable fees will be disclosed to users before completing a request.
Service fees charged by RentFund are separate from any interest, financing charges, or fees imposed by third-party financing providers.
RentFund is not responsible for pricing, fees, interest rates, or repayment terms set by third-party providers.
All payments made to RentFund are final and non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Account Cancellation & Data Deletion
If you cancel your RentFund account or membership:
- Access to the Platform will end immediately
- Your account data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Deleted data cannot be recovered
- Previous account history or submissions cannot be restored
By cancelling your account, you acknowledge and agree that your data may be permanently removed.
7. Platform Modifications & Termination
RentFund may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, including:
- Pricing
- Eligibility requirements
- Features or functionality
We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the Platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Privacy & Data Use
RentFund collects personal and financial information only as necessary to:
- Operate the Platform
- Verify identity
- Process rent support requests
- Facilitate connections with third-party financing providers

- RentFund is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the Platform
RentFund does not guarantee approval, financing availability, or specific outcomes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within Alberta.
